Description of the purpose
The article “Cardiovascular disease (CVD) and associated risk factors among older adults in six low-and middle-income countries: results from SAGE Wave” written by (Ruan, et.al., 2018) shows how angina and stroke, as well as behavioral risk factors in lower to middle social-economic countries play a factor in (CVDs).
Explanation of research design
As described by Ruan & Guo (2018) the data was from the World Health Organization on the study of Global AGEing and adult health. They used a longitudinal cohort study of older adults from 2007-2010 from China, Ghana, India, Mexico, Russian Federation, and South Africa.
