Situation; 48 years old Athena Washington was brought to the emergency department for stroke-like symptoms.
Background: Has hypertension not well controlled, hypercholesterolemia, and reoccurring headaches.
Assessment: The patient has a left-sided weakness, abnormal NIH stroke scale, left-sided facial drop, headache, dysphasia, dysarthria, nausea, and is disoriented.
