Whether providing education to individuals, families, or groups, improving the knowledge surrounding health and illness is an integral component of advanced nursing practice, with health promotion often being the goal.

SOLUTION
A patient receiving immunotherapy treatment at an outpatient cancer center calls with complaints of a sudden onset of shortness of breath, fever, chest pain when he breaths in, and a dry cough.
