Solution
Criteria | Nursing research provides us with the information needed to make the best practices for the improvement of patient care. Nurses need to learn basic research principles to develop their capability in retrieving, reading, analyzing, and applying nursing research findings. The nursing field is constantly growing and thus, research brings into light new information useful in addressing the changes experienced in staffing, patient care demands, public health, healthcare policies, etc.
Nurses with an in-depth understanding of nursing research can effectively respond to any changes in nursing practice. The information learned today may be irrelevant tomorrow, the pratices which are the gold standard may be ineffective tomorrow , and thus, the need for nursing research to ensure the practices and policies are always up to date. This course will enrich my knowledge and skills in nursing. I will be able to apply research in my day-to-day careers and to effectively address the complexities of today’s healthcare system. |
