Solution

While working in the hospital and as a workers compensation nurse case manager both organizations underwent transitions in the documentation systems used. While at the hospital, staff transitioned to EPIC. While working in case management Salesforce was updated and overhauled. Both instances presented challenges but also highlighted, for me, how nurses need the ability to evolve professionally and technologically. Both companies utilized “superusers” to test the new systems before they were implemented and to provide support for staff.
